Xian Hui visits Vietnam

Xian Hui, vice-chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a delegation of CPPCC members to visit Vietnam from June 8 to 10.

She met with Tran Cam Tu, a Politburo member and standing member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, and Bui Thi Minh Hoai, a Politburo member and president of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), and held talks with Vice-President of the VFF Central Committee Hoang Cong Thuy.

Xian said China is ready to work with Vietnam to follow the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and make steady and substantive progress in advancing the China-Vietnam community with a shared future. The CPPCC National Committee stands ready to contribute to this end, she said.

The Vietnamese side expressed their readiness to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries, deepen exchanges of party and state governance experiences, and strengthen practical cooperation in various fields such as economy and trade, science and technology, and infrastructure.
