The 8th All-China Young Entrepreneurs Conference was held in Jinan, East China's Shandong province, from June 2 to 4. The conference focused on the new prospects depicted in the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), emphasizing responsibility and pooling strength for development. Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Gao pointed out that young entrepreneurs should firm up their ideals and convictions, integrating a sense of national responsibility into the development of their businesses, and align their aspirations with the cause of national rejuvenation. They should unleash their innovative abilities, drive future development through new quality productive forces and achieve new breakthroughs in competing for technological leadership, he added.

In addition, the young entrepreneurs should forge modern governance capabilities and establish a modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics to lay a solid foundation for the steady and sustained growth of their businesses, Gao said. Furthermore, they should elevate their sense of social responsibility, demonstrate the commitment to achieving common prosperity and strive to serve as role models for more young entrepreneurs in the new era, he noted.

During the conference, activities concerning matters such as education on ideals and convictions were carried out. Wang Hongyan, a member of the Leading Party Members Group and vice-chairman of the ACFIC, attended the meeting. Zhou Naixiang, deputy secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Shandong Provincial Committee and governor of Shandong province; Wang Yi, a member of the Secretariat of the Communist Youth League of China Central Committee; and Liu Qiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Leading officials from the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the ACFIC and the Communist Youth League of China Central Committee, as well as relevant government departments of Shandong province and the city of Jinan attended the event. Members of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee of the ACFIC and young entrepreneur representatives from across the country also participated.
