The 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will open its fourth annual session on Wednesday afternoon.

Prior to the opening session, members of the CPPCC National Committee will take questions from journalists at "passage interviews", which got their name because they usually take place on the walkways leading to the main hall of the Great Hall of the People.
