A briefing on preparations for the upcoming session of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee was held by the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) Central Committee. Gu Zhenchun, vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Gu outlined the highlights of the RCCK Central Committee's work in 2025 and its main work arrangements for 2026. He said that in 2025, the RCCK Central Committee achieved fruitful results in self-development, performance of advisory functions, and work related to national reunification. In 2026, the RCCK will strive forward and help ensure a good start for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), he noted.
Gu expressed gratitude to media outlets for their long-standing support for the RCCK's publicity work. He expressed hope that they would continue to follow and report on the RCCK's activities, and through comprehensive, multilevel and high-quality coverage, showcase the new progress and achievements in the fulfillment of its duties, thereby demonstrating the vibrant vitality of multi-party cooperation in the new era.
At the briefing, RCCK officials introduced the handling of and responses to the proposals the RCCK Central Committee had submitted to the third session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee in 2025, the progress made in advancing related work, as well as the proposal materials and key focuses they prepared for the upcoming fourth session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee. Officials from the offices of nine special committees of the RCCK Central Committee took questions and provided related briefings at the event.
