The 2026 Science Exploration Awards have been officially announced, recognizing three distinguished members of the Biophysical Society of China for their outstanding contributions to life sciences and medical sciences.

Chen Xiaowei, vice president of the Metabolic Biology Division, was honored with the Life Sciences Award. Meanwhile, Han Shuo, a member of the Molecular Biophysics Division, and Wang Jiqiu, deputy secretary-general of the Metabolic Biology Division, received the Medical Sciences Award.
