The Second Guangming Biological Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Forum concluded on August 8 at Sun Yat-sen University, Shenzhen. The event, themed "Integrative Structural Biology Based on NMR," was organized by the Biophysical Society of China's Biological Magnetic Resonance Division and co-hosted by several prestigious institutions, including Sun Yat-sen University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The forum attracted nearly twenty renowned scholars from institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Technical University of Munich, and Peking University. Among them were three academicians from Germany, the U.S., and Europe. From August 2 to 8, experts delivered lectures on NMR methods and their applications in biomolecular analysis, protein and nucleic acid dynamics, drug development, and more. The forum also featured sessions on single-molecule techniques, cryo-electron microscopy, molecular dynamics, AI, and protein design, promoting interdisciplinary integration.

Activities included lectures, discussions, poster presentations, and roundtable forums. Over 30 young scholars from institutions like the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, and Moscow University participated.

Young attendees reported that the forum enhanced their understanding of NMR theories and methods and inspired them through interactions with senior scientists. The event significantly contributed to the growth of young scientists and promoted international exchange in the field of biological magnetic resonance.
