Biophysics Reports' online lecture makes debut

Biophysics Reports held an inaugural online live broadcast on March 24, marking another innovative endeavor in expanding academic exchanges and promoting the dissemination of its research findings. 

The online lecture featured Li Yu, a youth editorial board member of the journal and professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), who delivered a speech on the application of Bio-LLM in biology and health sciences. 

With rich research experience in bioinformatics, Li's work involves leveraging artificial intelligence technologies, particularly LLM, to advance the frontiers of biology and health sciences.

The event attracted active participation and high attention, garnering significant interest and achieving wide coverage across platforms. Its live broadcast on the Biophysical Society of China’s Bilibili account attracted 516 views, while BioArt's WeChat channel drew 3,550 viewers. The CAS National Science Library’s Scientific Research Information Literacy Lecture Platform reached a peak of 248 concurrent viewers.
