Xiamen Airport to launch four new international flights

Xiamen Airport will launch four new flights this summer to ease the pressure on Terminal 3. Additionally, the airport also starts its summer/autumn flight schedule, valid from now till October 28.

Xiamen Airlines and Singapore-based SilkAir plan to launch four new international night flights, SilkAir MI924/3 Xiamen-Singapore round-trip flight starting on June 3, Xiamen Airlines MF8907/8 Xiamen-Singapore round-trip flight，Xiamen Airlines MF8901/2 Xiamen-Bali round-trip flight and Xiamen Airlines MF811/2 Xiamen-Amsterdam round-trip flight.

Due to the summer days being longer and nights shorter, Xiamen Airport will further optimise Terminal 4’s flight schedule, moving up the earliest departure time to 06:20 and latening the last arrival time to 00:55.

In addition, Xiamen Airlines will begin running Xiamen-Melbourne flights after launching three other intercontinental routes in a row last year, connecting Xiamen to Europe, Asia and Australia. Additionally, it gains momentum in Southeast Asia by launching further international routes, such as Xiamen-Cebu.

As part of the new flight schedule, Shandong Airlines will not only launch a Xiamen-Rizhao-Beijing flight and a Xiamen-Hangzhou-Urumchi flight for the first time, but  will also resume flights from Xiamen to Hailar, Haikou and other popular summer tourist destinations. Moreover, Southern Airlines plans to add a daily flight; Tibet Airlines will resume its Xiamen-Chongqing route and Donghai Airlines will launch its first Xiamen-Zhengzhou flights.
