A contract bridge team comprising students from Shanxi University won the seventh place in the youth women’s group competition at the fourth National Intellectual Games, SXU officials said.

The event was held in Quzhou, in East China’s Zhejiang province, on Nov 8-18.

This year’s games set up six major events including Go, Chess, Contract Bridge, Draughts and Gomoku.

The Shanxi University team representing Shanxi province participated in the men’s and women’s group competitions and the doubles competitions.

Among the team members were Huang Leiru, Yu Chaonan, Zhu Wenxuan, Liu Dengchao, Yang Anping, Yu Zhou, Gao Xiang and Li Yaoyu from Shanxi University.
