A delegation led by Zhang Tiancai, vice principal of Shanxi University, paid visits to Zhejiang University, Suzhou University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology on Nov 4-6.

The delegation was a fact-finding mission to conduct in-depth exchanges with the three universities on the roles of their academic committees, how they improved their respective academic disciplines and improved postgraduate training.

The SXU delegates learned about the innovative initiatives and typical practices of the universities in management.

The event is seen as having practical use in guiding SXU’s ambitious moves to become a world-class academic institution.
