SXU holds course on national patent law revision, rollout

A training course on national patent law revision and implementation was held at Shanxi University from Oct 17 to 20, according to university officials.

The course, sponsored by National Intellectual Property Administration, attracted the participation of more than 100 people, they said.

It was attended by Yang Lifeng, director of the Intellectual Property Application and Promotion Office of Shanxi Provincial Market Supervision Bureau.

Lectures on patent life cycles, construction of patent laws in China, as well as the fourth comprehensive revision of the patent law and patent operation service system, were delivered by prominent experts and academics.

Among them were Tao Xinliang, dean of the Intellectual Property School of Dalian University of Technology, Liu Heming from the law department of National Intellectual Property Administration -- and Lyu Lyu, at the promotion department of the National Intellectual Property Administration.
