A rousing concert of classical Italian songs hit all the right notes when it was held at a concert hall in Shanxi University in Taiyuan, capital of North China’s Shanxi province, on Oct 26.

Sponsored by SXU’s Academy of Music and conducted by Professor Massimo Guidetti -- Professor of Piano Accompaniment at the Arrigo Boito Music Conservatory of Parma in Italy -- the concert attracted the participation of about 400 teachers and students.

As the first concert held staged by Italian Professor Guidetti after coming to SXU, he and SXU’s teachers Zheng bin and Yang Lei jointly performed Italian classical songs, showing the audience the charms of opera.
