Liu Xiaozhe, dean of the Academy of Marxism of Shanxi University, was awarded the honorable title of “National Education System Advanced Worker”, according to a decision jointly released by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Sept 5.

Professor Liu Xiaozhe is one of two winners of the title in Shanxi province and the only higher education teacher in Shanxi to win it.

Liu, a professor and doctoral tutor at Shanxi University, mainly researches ideology and Party building. More than 50 papers by Liu have been published in well-known Chinese journals.
