Malaysian school orchestra visits SXU

A 108-member orchestra from Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School in Malaysia was invited to visit Shanxi University between Dec 16 and 18.

During its visit, the orchestra performed for faculty staff and students at the university and members met musicians from SXU's orchestra. The Malaysian delegation also toured the history museum, Yao Dianzhong Art Gallery and other educational facilities at the university during the visit.

Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School is an overseas Chinese school. The school is committed to teaching Chinese, spreading Chinese culture, and promoting better understanding of Chinese culture among all ethnic groups in Malaysia –– which is reputed to be one of the best regions for overseas Chinese education.
