SXU convenes Midwest university development seminar

To support higher education development in Midwest China, a seminar focusing on the program cooperation and planning of 14 universities from central and western areas was convened at Shanxi University (SXU) in Taiyuan from Sept 18 to 21.

The seminar, sponsored by National Center for Schooling Development Programme and Shanxi University, received the attendance of more than 50 officials from education departments and schools.

The seminar mainly held talks about the requirements for the construction of double first-class schools, the layout of scientific disciplines, and advanced campus management.

The universities involved are Hebei University, Shanxi University, Inner Mongolia University, Nanchang University, Zhengzhou University, Guangxi University, Hainan University, Guizhou University, Yunnan University, Tibet University, Qinghai University, and Ningxia University.
