Cheng Fangqin attends energy and power engineering forums

Cheng Fangqin, vice chancellor of Shanxi University (SXU), attended the 4th Energy Forum in conjunction with an international academic symposium of engineering science and technology centralized around energy revolution and electric innovation from Sept 21 to 22.

The forum, sponsored by Chinese Academy of Engineering and National Energy Administration of China, invited 39 academicians, 5 international influential experts, and 14 governmental officials and leaders of state-owned enterprises, to discuss the latest scientific research and development of global energy and power and seek high-efficient and low-carbon approaches for China’s clean energy strategies.

Cheng visited Tsinghua University to learn more about its thermal engineering lab, basic industrial training center, and electronic engineering institute.

Huang Yidong, a professor from the Electronic Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, introduced the subject’s curriculum arrangement, scientific research and innovation, and training system.
