Tibetan students visit Shanxi University

Updated: 2017-10-09

Students from the Tibetan Class of the High Scholl Affiliated to Shanxi University (SXU) visited SXU on Sept 29. The Tibetan students were toured around the university, including its museum, dining halls, art gallery and exhibitions.

Li Sidian, deputy secretary of SXU Party committee, warmly welcomed the Tibetan students and encouraged them to study hard.

Li Xiaolin, head of the united front work department of SXU, donated sports goods to the students on behalf of the university.

Earlier in May, SXU was honored as a demonstrative college in promoting harmony among the ethnic groups. Over the past few months, the university has organized events to fasten the relationship between Han and other ethnic groups.
