Inner Mongolia university delegation investigate labs at SXU

A delegation from Inner Mongolia University came to Shanxi University (SXU) on March 24 to investigate key laboratories.

The delegates visited several key labs at the university, including the national key laboratory for quantum optics and photon devices as well as the scientific instrument center.

The two sides then discussed the operation and management pattern of the labs, establishment of research teams, and student training during a seminar, followed by the visit of Peng Kunchi, an academic at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the leader of research on quantum optics at SXU.

Founded in 1957, Inner Mongolia University in Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is committed to scientific research. It now has 30 research platforms, such as autonomous region-level key labs and research centers for engineering technologies.
