The plum blossoms at Wuxi's Plum Garden usually don't bloom until late January or even early February, but this year they greeted the city much earlier than their regular schedule.
The first to grace the scene is the "star" variety – the Light Pink Single Petal. Heralding the early spring in the garden, this variety has bloomed more than 20 days earlier than usual, signaling the start of the sequential flowering of other plum varieties.
This early surprise has already attracted a large number of visitors eager to witness the delicate pink hues of the flora of winter.

The early plum blossoms are primarily concentrated in the core viewing area – Zaochun Road. Of the 28 newly transplanted plum trees, more than 10 have already bloomed. Some of the trees have even reached full bloom, with their light pink petals exuding a fresh elegance.
In addition to the early plum blossoms, the wintersweet in the garden is also quietly blooming. Golden wintersweet adorns the branches, complementing the light pink of the early plums. The intermingling fragrances of the two plum varieties entice many visitors to pause and take photos, capturing the unique charm of winter.
