The No 108 Corridor along Taihu Lake in Binhu district, Wuxi, has become a major attraction for Taihu Lake tourism.

Taihu Lake, with a surface area of about 2,500 square kilometers and a shoreline of 416 kilometers, extends across four cities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces: Wuxi, Suzhou, Changzhou, and Huzhou.

This corridor begins at Shanshuixi Road and passes through Huanhu Road, Shibawan Road, Shilimingzhu Levee, Huanshandong Road, and Qilifengguang Levee before reaching Huanshanxi Road.

The Shilimingzhu and Qilifengguang levees are key components of the No 108 Corridor, closely linked with Huanshandong and Huanshanxi roads. Together, they form the outer ring of the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort.

As the renovation of the two levees completed, a 30-kilometer cultural and tourism "golden circle" is emerging, formed by the two levees and two roads. This route links popular attractions like Lingshan Mountain, Nianhuawan Bay, and Longtouzhu Park, enabling visitors to visit multiple sites easily without detours. This development not only prolongs visitors' stay but also stimulates various activities such as lodging, dining, and entertainment.

Data indicates that between January and June this year, the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort attracted nearly 10 million visitors. Over one-third of these visitors specifically went to the two levees, establishing it as a new tourism hotspot in Binhu district, after Lingshan Mountain and Nianhuawan Bay.
