To explore Wuxi's rich history, culture, folk customs, and natural scenery, a tourism, cultural, a creative design competition has been initiated in the city, developing souvenirs that blend cultural significance with market appeal.

Registration for this competition is open to students and teachers in related majors from universities nationwide, as well as professional designers, cultural and creative enterprises, tourism planning teams, art studios, and other individuals or groups.

Participants must create physical souvenir products inspired by Wuxi's features, such as historical stories, cultural icons, intangible cultural heritage, local foods, natural landscapes, city landmarks, and folk festivals. These products can include handicrafts, stationery, accessories, household items, and modern gadgets.

Entries must be original, not previously awarded, published publicly in other competitions, or involved in plagiarism or infringement. Submissions should include a description of the creative process to demonstrate their originality.

Participants can access the official competition website, select the registration link for the City Tourism Cultural and Creative Design Competition, enter their personal or team details, and upload their design drawings, descriptions, sample works, and other relevant materials.

The competition will recognize winners with gold, silver, and bronze awards, along with honorable mentions. There will be three gold winners, each earning 3,000 yuan ($418.33) before tax; six silver winners, each receiving 2,000 yuan pre-tax; nine bronze winners, each awarded 1,000 yuan pre-tax; and several honorable mentions will receive certificates.
