The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced that the list of public cultural spaces will be upgraded this year, including 21 from Wuxi.

Here are some of the listed public cultural spaces in Wuxi.

Wuxi Bell Tower Library is renovated from the former site of Wuxi County Library. Its first floor features an exhibition themed on Wuxi's urban construction. In contrast, the second floor serves as the Zhong Reading Yard, displaying local historical records, Wuxi cultural publications, and works by Wuxi writers.

Red Boat Industrial Park is themed around "a river, a city, a boat", integrating elements of culture, commerce, daytime sightseeing, and night tours. The park creates an industrial-style entertainment place by combining the history of Wuxi Shipyard and the Grand Canal culture.

Along the Zhuangyuan Ancient Path are unique service locations for coffee, dining, and tourism consultation surrounded by mountains and forests, creating a unique cultural experience.

Integrating art, creation, exhibition, research, and appreciation, Song 1969 Museum has hosted various art exhibitions, music performances, tea tasting, handicraft workshops, and other activities since its opening, providing the public with rich artistic experiences and cultural learning opportunities.

Nestled against Shushan Mountain, facing south and sitting north, Dongpo Academy was where Su Dongpo (1037-1101), a renowned litterateur, lectured. After a recent renovation, activities such as tea drinking, free classes, and creative cultural experiences have injected more vitality into the academy.
