Intl visitors praise Wuxi's culture, landscapes

gowuxi.com| Updated: February 12, 2025 L M S

Wuxi, as a sub-venue of the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, attracts international tourists with its historical charm, rich culture, and Jiangnan-style landscapes.

Among these tourists, a Russian girl named Iranova experienced the strong festive atmosphere in Changjing Ancient Town, Jiangyin, a county-level city of Wuxi, during the Spring Festival. Iranova is a makeup blogger with over a million followers on Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu.

Celebrating the Chinese New Year in Changjing is a festive and unforgettable experience. The old streets and alleys are brimming with the dynamic atmosphere of daily life. Walking past the former residence of Zhang Dalie, the Shangguan Yunzhu Memorial Hall, and the Dafu Silkworm Breeding Farm, one can feel the unique local culture. Lanterns hang under the eaves, their vibrant red color contrasting with the clear blue sky, creating a rich Spring Festival atmosphere that keeps Iranova captivated.

As night falls, the ancient town becomes even more enchanting and intoxicating. The dazzling and diverse light displays embody the beauty of the Spring Festival in China.
