Yangshan is a famous birthplace of honey peaches in China. The unique volcanic ash soil, climate conditions, distinctive peach varieties, and scientific management give Yangshan honey peaches a large size, beautiful color, strong fragrance, thin skin, thick flesh, abundant juice, sweet taste, and unique flavor.
They are well-known both domestically and internationally, selling well in major cities along the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway as well as in Hong Kong, Macao, and Southeast Asia.
Records show that Yangshan honey peaches have a history of 700 years and nearly 100 of cultivation. Wuxi's Yangshan is known as one of the four major traditional peach-producing areas in China, along with Feicheng in Shandong, Shenzhou in Hebei, and Fenghua in Zhejiang.
