Wuxi resumes flights to Jeju Island

Wuxi Shuofang Airport in Jiangsu province recently resumed flights from Wuxi to Jeju Island in South Korea, Wuxi Daily reported.
The flights are operated by Ruili Airlines on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The flights to Jeju will depart at 6:05 pm, with a flight time of one hour and 40 minutes. The return flights will depart Jeju at 8:45 pm the same day and arrive in Wuxi at 10:35 pm.
The largest island in South Korea, Jeju Island is blessed with a pleasant climate and also boasts delicious food and creative artwork. It is a renowned destination for wedding trips and the shooting location of numerous South Korean dramas.

Currently, the airport has resumed international flights to eight cities, including Tokyo, Singapore and Seoul, with the flights to Hong Kong, Macao, Osaka, and Nha Trang being the most popular.
Statistics show that in the first half of this year, the airport handled over 326,000 inbound and outbound tourists, a major increase of 168 percent year-on-year. The figure includes 165,000 outbound tourists, soaring 174 percent from the previous year.
