Take a stroll in Wuxi's countryside

Autumn wind is blowing and leaves are falling from trees one after another. It is time to take a countryside walk in Hongshan subdistrict, Wuxi, to appreciate serene rural views.
The first stop is Dafangqiao village. One can spend some time in rambling about in the small parks or chitchatting with friends while admiring the idyllic scenery. Or, one can visit Hanru Bridge to watch a sunset.

The second stop is Dafangqiao Laojie village. One of the 10 ancient villages in Wuxi, Dafangqiao Laojie has done a good job of preserving its ancient buildings and its 13 granaries, standing across the village's ancient street, have witnessed the prosperity of the last century and the glory of this era.
The third stop is Qifangqiao village. Entering the village, one marvels at its small bridge, rivers, clean and tidy winding paths, as well as the residential buildings with white walls and black tiles.

The final stop is Dongtangjie village. Walking in Xutangqiao and Tangjiaqiao, one can have a great view of the rice fields and smell the faint fragrance from osmanthus fragrans. Wheat pancakes are definitely a must-eat for visitors in Hongshan. Follow the smell of the delicacy, and take a trip of food discovery!
