Nianhua Bay makes national list for smart tourism pilot

The Nianhua Bay scenic area in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently listed among the first pilots for developing smart tourism and immersive experience new spaces, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Nianhua Bay is renowned as a modern Buddhist resort where visitors can relax, meditate and enjoy the slow-paced monastic lifestyle.

One of the scenic area's highlights is the fields of beautiful flowers surrounding the buildings, of which the thousands of blooming chrysanthemums have come to symbolize the resort.
Most of the buildings, including the hotels, boutiques, workshops, commercial streets and restaurants, are in the style of the Tang and Song dynasties (618-907).

The resort uses avant-garde technologies to create an immersive experience for tourists, who can spend the night as people usually did in the Tang and Song dynasties, an amazing nighttime experience.

Opening hours: 9 am to 9 pm from Sunday to Thursday; 9 am to 9:30 pm from Friday to Saturday
