Yunqi Buildings are separated by the wall called Isolating Mundane Worlds, whose name comes from a legend stating that Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty visited the eminent monk at Huishan Temple but the monk shunned the emperor by engraving "Isolating Mundane World" on the lintel of Yunqi Buildings.
