"The Dingshu airport is positioned as a trial flight base for new aircraft, a general aviation industrial base, and a center for general aviation industry public services, aviation culture exhibition, and flight experiences," said Wan Qiang, general manager of Wuxi Dingshu General Airport Management Co Ltd.
Wan added that the airport will offer services such as short-distance trips, sightseeing, and aviation education.
The airport will also host entertainment activities, including exhibitions, music festivals, and livestreams to improve its profile, according to the general manager.
