Various events will be held across Wuxi to celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival.
The Lantern Festival is on the 15th day of the first month on the Chinese lunar calendar, which falls on Feb 15 this year. Its arrival also marks the end of Spring Festival celebrations.
Tourist attractions such as Huishan Ancient Town, Meili Ancient Town, Lingshan Mountain scenic area, Nianhuawan scenic area, Donglin Academy and Qingming Bridge Historical and Cultural Block will all put up many different shapes and sizes of lanterns.

In addition, cultural venues such as the Wuxi Library, Wuxi Museum, and Wuxi Opera Art Center will stage festive events and performances, as well as exhibitions related to the Beijing Winter Olympics.
