The annual plum blossom cultural tourism festival kicked off at Wuxi Plum Garden on Jan 18, running until March 13 this year.

February and March are the ideal time to admire plum blossoms in Wuxi. Every year, a number of local residents and visitors from surrounding cities visit the city's Plum Garden to enjoy the beautiful and fragrant flowers of late winter.

This year's event features many characteristic bonsai, flower arrangement works, and cultural tourism products.

In addition, the garden will invite many popular v-loggers to promote the history anad beauty of Wuxi's plum blossoms to more netizens. The garden will also cooperate with plum gardens in Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Hefei to show the charm of blooming plums in the wintertime.

Wuxi Plum Garden has 400 species of plum trees on the mountain and more than 10,000 plum trees throughout the garden.

According to workers at the garden, the flowers will come later this year due to low temperatures from days ago. Spring Festival holiday will be an ideal time for visitors to admire early and middle cultivars of plums.
