As Spring Festival approaches, tourist attractions under the Wuxi Cultural and Tourism Development Group will offer free entry to 150,000 visitors, according to local media outlets on Jan 13.

From Jan 31 to Feb 6 – the Spring Festival golden week – scenic spots such as Yuantouzhu scenic area, Xihui Park scenic spot, Xihui Cultural Relics and Historic Site, Meiyuan Garden, Liyuan Garden, and Wuxi Zoo will provide many special activities. For details about each scenic spot's policies, you can follow their official WeChat accounts.

Yuantouzhu scenic area will offer New Year performances and professional gardeners will be invited to give live performances of bonsai production at orchid exhibition.

Meiyuan Garden will welcome visitors with over 10,000 blooming plum trees. The annual Yangtze River Delta Plum Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival and Plum Blossom Food Festival will be held as well.

Wuxi Zoo's new home for tigers – the Big Cat House – will be unveiled during the Spring Festival to teach children about tigers. The baby tiger named "White Tiger" will welcome the Year of the Tiger with visitors.
