The annual Hongshan Grape Culture Tourism Festival kicked off on July 24 and will last for one month. A series of events have been organized for the festival.

Known for its charming natural scenery and sweet grapes, Hongshan town in Wuxi's Xinwu district is a popular summer destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Thanks to its fertile earth and the planting expertise of farmers, the juicy and sweet Hongshan Grapes have earned their strong reputation and sell well in surrounding cities.

The online opening ceremony invited 10 hosts from Wuxi Radio & TV Group to promote these delicious grapes through livestreams and videos.

During the one-month event, visitors can pick grapes and enjoy fresh ones at the Hongshan Grape Park. Five popular tourist attractions in Hongshan town will offer free admission, including the Hongshan Relic Museum, China View Stone Park, Lianghong National Wetland Park, Taibo Tomb Scenic Area, and the Former Residence of Qian Mu and Qian Weichang.

Hongshan town has also been named the first provincial social education base in Wuxi to promote Wu culture, which can be traced back thousands of years.
