Xihui Park
Xihui Park is located in the western part of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, and covers 90 hectares. It is a large comprehensive garden integrating many cultural relics and historic sites and offering travelers comfort and pleasure.
Huishan Spring, known as the second spring in the world, Jichang Garden, Huishan Temple and other famous tourist attractions are all located in the park. Built in 1958, Xihui Park is one of the core 14 spots around Taihu Lake, one of the first national key scenic spots and a national key park as well as an AAAA-level tourist scenic spot. Huishan and Xishan mountains are linked by Yingshan Lake, forming Xihui Park in 1958.
Visitors to Huishan Temple can enjoy historic sites of stone pillars carved with Buddhist scriptures.
Founded in 1516, Erquan Academy was listed as a Wuxi cultural relic site.
The China Azalea Garden features Wuxi’s city flower azalea blossoms as its main plants> Constructed on the eastern slope of Huishan Mountain, the garden once won first prize in the National Landscape Design Excellence and the Science and Technology Progress Award. Tourists can also visit Jiangtang Pond, Zhizhu Gallery and other scenic spots the area.
