The first container vessel of the Wan Hai Lines operating the China-Thailand-Vietnam shipping service docked at Phase I of the Gaolan Port International Container Terminal Feb 10. Code named Long Chun, the ship was loaded with nearly 100 containers from Zhuhai Ineos Group at the port.

Gaolan Customs opened green channels for Long Chun and carried out on-board quarantine and on-site loading supervision upon its arrival. Two bridge cranes were used to load the containers after entry inspection and quarantine. The loading process lasted for around five hours. 

Huang Xin of the Zhuhai Port & Shipping Management said that the successful operation of Long Chun in Zhuhai will effectively relieve export logistic pressures of Zhuhai foreign trade companies while strengthening Zhuhai ports' core competitiveness and expanding their influence in countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
