The Zhuhai Foreign Trade Transformation & Upgrading Base for Printing Consumables garnered 300 orders and 60 regional cooperation deals worth 110 million yuan ($16.97 million) at its first professional exhibition in northern China on July 22 and 23.

Print-Rite, G&G, and Mito are among 60 Zhuhai enterprises that attended the 2021 China (Northern) International Office Equipment & Consumables Exhibition in Harbin of Heilongjiang. Thousands of high-quality products were displayed: chemical raw materials, toner, ink, toner cartridges, ink boxes, and paper to chips with core technology, charge control and chromogenic agents, and 2D and 3D printers.

More than 1,000 wholesalers, retailers, and cross-border e-commerce merchants showed interest in Zhuhai products. Nine orders and regional cooperation agreements worth 45 million yuan ($6.94 million) were signed on the first day alone. They expand the exchange and cooperation between Zhuhai and Harbin in industry, economy and trade, technology, and talents.

In addition, a 36-sqm (43-sq-yd) public booth raised awareness about the Zhuhai collective, which was selected among the first foreign trade transformation and upgrade bases in Guangdong and has improved in aggregation, branding, and quality over the past 10 years.

The exhibition was hosted by Comexposium Recycling Times Exhibition Services, and locally handled by the Zhuhai Import & Export Chamber of Commerce, Zhuhai Printing Consumables Industry Association, and Heilongjiang Chamber of Commerce in Zhuhai. It offered a new path for the Zhuhai base to promote the innovative development of foreign trade through organic combination of industry and trade, said an official of the Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce.

A summit was held on the sideline at which industrial insiders shared their insights on the latest information and technology of the industry and predicted its development.

Next, the 15th RemaxWorld Expo will take place in Zhuhai from Sept 16 to 18 concurrently with the 2021 International Office Equipment & Consumables Ecological Award ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the domestic consumable industry and promote its sustainable development.
