Kinwong constructing 2 upscale plants in Gaolan zone
Construction of multi-layer board (MLB) and high-end high-density interconnect (HDI) plants for Kinwong Electronic (Zhuhai) Co commenced in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone on Oct 12.
The project costs 5 billion yuan ($707.5 million) and covers 157,000 sq m (39 acres). The two plants are expected to operate by March 2021, producing 3 million sq m of HDI printed circuit boards (PCBs) and 2 million sq m of flexible printed circuits (FPCs) annually.
Kinwong Electronic (Zhuhai) was established in August 2017 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Kinwong Electronic Co. It is one of the few domestic enterprises that produce PCBs, FPCs, and metal printed circuit boards (MPCBs).
