Incubation base takes in Macao hi-potential startups
Nine more Macao innovation and entrepreneurship projects have qualified to settle in the Guangdong Zhuhai Public Entrepreneurship Incubation (Training) Base in Xiangzhou District, according to the city's Talent Resources & Employment Service Center.
The projects were selected from more than 20 others run by young Macao university students or graduates within five years. They include e-commerce, new-energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and cultural communication endeavors.
An office area and facilities in a 1,200-sq-m (1,435-sq-yd) dedicated zone for Macao projects was established at the incubation base in May and upgraded in July.

To date, a matchmaking and two investment attraction conferences have been held by the Talent Resources & Employment Service Center to entice Macao innovation and entrepreneurship projects that might be a good fit for Zhuhai and Macao’s industrial positioning and development. As recently as July 17, a competition was held in Qianshan for local students and those from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan to apply to be located in the Guangdong Zhuhai Public Entrepreneurship Incubation (Training) Base.
The first six Macao projects at the base are developing with all-round in-house services covering business registration, vehicle licensing, and taxation and accounting.
