Futuristic laser printer park under way at Gaolan Port
Ground was broken on Oct 19 for Ninestar Laser Printer Hi-Tech Equipment & Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, the first-of-its-kind in China, in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone.
Ninestar Corp will introduce advanced intelligent manufacturing, logistics, and industrial concepts to the 9-billion-yuan ($1.3-billion) park. It will be equipped with domestically leading printing-supportive facilities. The concepts reportedly will integrate scientific research, production, office and residential functions.
According to Wang Dongying chairman, Ninestar will gradually transfer industrial capacity to the industrial park, complementing the integration of technology, capital, and talents. It will edge into the global top three in the printing industry through independent innovation, and absorption and re-innovation of domestic and advanced international technologies.
