The team is understood to be dedicated to research including the applications of coffee by-products.
Through industry-academia collaboration, its aim is to protect the environment, help coffee farmers increase their incomes and promote the healthy development of Yunnan's coffee industry.
Elsewhere, the Beans and Cups project team from YNU's School of International Relations participated in the festival. Over two years, it's conducted extensive research across all eight coffee-producing areas in Yunnan, as well as those in Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and other ASEAN countries. The team's aim is said to be to create an open and inclusive cultural space for young people.
