The first International Culture Week of Yunnan University (YNU) opened on the Donglu Campus on April 16. This four-day event was organized to celebrate International Chinese Language Day as well as the 101st anniversary of the founding of Yunnan University.

During the opening ceremony, Mo Hua, a Tajikistan master's student majoring in Chinese International Education, and Hou Shangyu, a Chinese master's student in the same department, delivered speeches.

Students from the School of Chinese International Education showcased a fantastic fashion show featuring both Chinese and international styles.
Following the opening ceremony, students donned colorful costumes from different countries and ethnic groups in order to parade around the campus while waving their national flags.

This event also showcased cultural products and cuisines from different countries and organized a range of activities, providing a platform for exchanges between Chinese and international students.
