Hu Jinming, vice president of YNU, along with relevant departments and school leaders, attended the discussion and exchange with Khon Kaen University.
Hu warmly welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the development of Yunnan University, reviewing the recent cooperation between YNU, Khon Kaen University, and other Thai universities and institutions.
He stated that YNU has established a good partnership with Khon Kaen University over the years and looks forward to a more fruitful collaboration in the future in South and Southeast Asian regional studies and the China-Laos-Thailand railway research.
Charnchai offered sincere congratulations to YUN on its 100th anniversary and briefly introduced Khon Kaen University.
He expressed the hope that the two universities could sign a memorandum of understanding and expand their exchanges to a broader range of fields and levels.
This exchange has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between YUN and Khon Kaen University. Both sides were committed to maintaining close collaborations and jointly promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
