Thai officials visit Yunnan University for diplomatic talks

A delegation of 13 officials from 10 provinces in Northeast Thailand visited Yunnan University on July 6.

The guests were fascinated by the extensive collection of historical artifacts and literature on display at Yunnan University's history hall and library. They spent hours exploring the exhibits and learning about the university's rich development history, from its humble beginnings to its current position as a leading institution of higher education. It was a truly enlightening experience that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

Hu Jinming, vice president of Yunnan University, cordially welcomed the delegation, introduced substantive cooperation with Thai universities, and exchanged views on issues related to perennial rice technology.

The two groups involved showed great excitement for their forthcoming joint efforts in the field of advanced learning, promoting deeper connections between individuals and propelling the development of the region.
