School-enterprise seminar held at Yunnan University

The 2021 school-enterprise cooperation seminar was held on Dec 23 at the Chenggong campus of Yunnan University (YNU).

Representatives from various businesses, staff members from YNU's student employment guidance service center, jobs advisors at YNU schools and student representatives attended the event.

During the seminar, Yang Yunchuan, director of YNU's student employment guidance service center, lauded the enterprises for their support of YNU graduates' employment.

Yang gave a presentation on the university's development of student employment and entrepreneurship practice bases and talked about the 2022 graduates. He invited enterprises to come to YNU to recruit top people.

The seminar focused on the development trends of industry and career opportunities, the adaptability of students, the effect of campus recruitment, the different forms of school-enterprise cooperation and other topics.

Business representatives, teachers and students also put forward suggestions.

In addition, YNU held the 2021 internship recruitment fair at the Chenggong campus in the afternoon. At the fair, 17 partner companies offered 720 internship positions to graduates and nearly 300 students attended.
