The 2021 Maritime Silk Road International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, University, Research, and Application Yunnan Forum on Ecological and Environmental Protection was held at Yunnan University (YNU) on Nov 30 through both online and offline channels.
Outstanding experts and scholars were invited to the conference to discuss biodiversity conservation and sustainable use in the cooperation and integration of industry, university, research, and application.

Hu Jinming, vice president of YNU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He expressed hope that the conference would further deepen cooperation in ecology, education, scientific research, industry, academic research, and talent training both at home and abroad.
The ecology discipline at YNU, as a world-class construction discipline approved by the Ministry of Education, has produced scientific and academic achievements in the fields of ecological environment protection and agricultural ecology in recent years.
The university's combination of achievements and industry has promoted environmental protection, biodiversity protection, and sustainable utilization in China and neighboring countries.
