Yunnan University deepens links with State-owned group

A partnership agreement between Yunnan University and Yuntianhua Group Co – both located  in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – was signed on Nov 22, to further broaden and deepen their existing cooperation in a wide range of areas.

Yuntianhua Group is a State-owned comprehensive industrial group, which has diversified operations in chemical fertilizers, modern agriculture, new glass fiber materials and petrochemicals – as well as in phosphate mining and phosphate chemicals, commerce and manufacturing services and in industrial finance.

During talks between the two sides, Fang Jingyun, president of Yunnan University, said that the university's technical research and development achievements had a lot to offer Yuantianhua Group in various fields of endeavor.

Zhang Wenxue, chairman of Yuntianhua Group, said he hoped the two would work well together in scientific research, training personnel and the integration of technology and industry – with a focus on the fields of fine chemicals, new fertilizers, modern agriculture, new materials and new energy.
