YNU contributes to Yunnan's economic development

In order to serve the economic development of Southwest China's Yunnan province, Yunnan University (YNU) has connected with a number of leading enterprises in the province and contributed to the development of key industries.

After in-depth cooperation talks, YNU reached a cooperation intention agreement with Yunnan Germanium Industry Group, Huawei Technologies Co Yunnan Branch, Sino-Precious Metals Holding Co and Yunnan Nantian Electronic Information Industry Co, further strengthening school-enterprise cooperation.

YNU and Sino-Precious Metals Holding Co will establish a new model for talent training and promote the industrialization of new materials and joint research on the development of functional devices.

In addition, YNU's relevant schools had in-depth discussions with the Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University to promote the cross-development of medicine and industry, and lay the foundation for the construction of a smart medical practice base.
