Zhang Liqun, president of XJTU, along with university leaders, Party standing committee members, and assistant presidents, visited Xingqing Campus, Yanta Campus, and the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbour (iHarbour), where they joined students and faculty in bidding farewell to an eventful and rewarding 2024 and welcoming the arrival of 2025.
At iHarbour, Zhang extended his holiday greetings to students and faculty. "Looking back on the past year, our nation has progressed steadily, and our university has thrived. Behind these achievements are the relentless efforts and unity of every XJTU member. I am proud of how much you have grown and what you have accomplished," he said.
He encouraged students to be pioneers, innovators, and contributors in the new year, shouldering the responsibilities and tasks of the times. He urged them to think critically, explore the unknown, work to achieve their goals, and face each day with optimism.
