NTU delegation visits XJTU
The delegation from NTU visits XJTU.
Boh Wai Fong, vice-president of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, led her delegation to visit Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) on Oct 29.
Shan Zhiwei, vice-president of XJTU, warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the university's history and development. He stated that XJTU and NTU have established a long-term and friendly partnership, with close collaboration across various academic fields. He hoped that both universities would actively use their resources to enhance exchanges and cooperation in the future.
Boh expressed gratitude for XJTU's warm reception, provided an overview of NTU, and reviewed the academic collaborations and faculty-student exchanges between the two institutions. She highlighted joint talent cultivation programs and expressed her expectation for deeper cooperation with XJTU.
NTU, Singapore, is a leading world-class comprehensive research university. It has a student body of 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across its engineering, business, science, humanities, arts, and social sciences colleges, as well as its graduate school. NTU is also home to the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, established in collaboration with Imperial College London.
