In the first quarter, searches for tourism products in Guangdong by residents of Hong Kong and Macao surged nearly 300-fold. Zhuhai emerged as the top destination, with Yuanmingyuan New Park being the most popular attraction.
During the May Day holiday, the commercial district in Beishan was bustling, attracting over 100,000 visitors. Not only did the dining sector thrive, but the themed homestays also emerged as a new favorite, with bookings doubled compared to regular days.
